Order Specifications & Fulfillment PoliciesLast reviewed: 25 October 2026

Before paying, review your confirmed specifications, artwork, payment milestones, estimated production schedule and shipping arrangements. Estimates can vary by order and destination.

01. Scope & Order Confirmation

This policy explains how PackagingWala handles custom packaging specifications, production, payment, dispatch, shipping and order fulfilment. It applies alongside the applicable quotation, order confirmation, Terms & Conditions and Cancellation, Refunds & Returns Policy.

Product descriptions, images and mock-ups are indicative. The confirmed quotation and approved specifications determine the applicable material, dimensions, thickness, printing, finish, quantity, pricing and delivery arrangements.

An enquiry or quotation request does not itself confirm an order. Production may begin only after the required approvals, payment clearance and order confirmation have been completed.

02. Production Timelines

Custom packaging involves artwork preparation, material sourcing, printing, lamination, curing, cutting and finishing. Production estimates depend on the specifications and complexity of each order.

  • Standard orders without a cylinder: approximately 20–25 working days.
  • Collaboration or mixed jobs: approximately 30–45 working days.
  • Custom orders requiring a cylinder: approximately 30–45 working days.

These are indicative production estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates. Artwork revisions, approval delays, material availability, curing requirements, factory scheduling and other operational factors may affect timelines.

A further production buffer of approximately 7–10 working days may be required where applicable. Any order-specific timeline or buffer communicated by our team should be read with the confirmed order.

Production time and transit time are separate. Please allow additional time for dispatch, transportation and delivery to your destination.

03. Artwork, Proofs & Customer Approval

Customers must carefully review and approve the final artwork before production. This includes spelling, text, dimensions, layout, colours, logos, product information, barcode placement and other supplied details.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their submitted artwork, trademarks, images and instructions are accurate and that they have the necessary rights to use them.

Once final approval is provided and production commences, changes may no longer be technically possible or may require additional charges and time. Any revision, plate or cylinder charge must be communicated and confirmed as applicable to the particular order.

If a correction is needed, contact our team as soon as possible. Approval of artwork does not remove any rights relating to a verified manufacturing defect or other remedy available under applicable law.

04. Manufacturing Tolerances & Quality

Industrial packaging production can involve variations arising from materials, machinery, printing processes and sealing requirements. The following indicative tolerances are described in our manufacturing policy and may vary by product and confirmed specification.

  • Quantity: approximately ±5–10% for certain manufacturing orders. Where agreed, billing is based on the actual quantity delivered and the applicable order terms.
  • Colour: minor variation may occur between screen previews and printed output because screens use RGB while printing uses physical inks and substrates.
  • Sealing: certain pouch structures may show a technical white sealing line of approximately 2 mm.

Where exact colour matching is important, discuss physical samples and matching requirements with our team before production.

These tolerances are not a blanket exemption for defective, incorrectly manufactured or materially non-conforming goods. Contact us promptly if the delivered order does not match the confirmed specifications.

Production photographs and videos may be shared when available and operationally feasible. Progress updates are not guaranteed and do not replace the agreed specifications or final review.

05. Pricing, Payment & Additional Charges

Product prices, quantities, applicable taxes and payment milestones are set out in the relevant quotation, checkout or order confirmation. Please review these details before making payment.

  • Payment: the advance and balance payment requirements stated in your confirmed quotation or checkout apply to your order. Outstanding balances must be cleared before dispatch where required by the confirmed order terms.
  • Design and artwork: design assistance, artwork preparation, revisions, plates or cylinders may incur separate charges where quoted.
  • Logistics: freight, transportation and other delivery-related charges may be billed separately where specified.

Do not assume that a quoted manufacturing price includes design, freight, insurance, taxes or other services unless the quotation expressly states so.

An order is not considered paid merely because a payment has been initiated. Online payments remain subject to confirmation by the applicable payment provider. If money is deducted but the order is not confirmed, contact support with the transaction reference.

06. Shipping Coverage & Delivery Arrangements

PackagingWala coordinates delivery through available transport providers and logistics partners. Serviceability, available routes, freight costs and estimated delivery times depend on the destination, shipment size and selected transport arrangement.

Delivery is available across serviceable locations in India. Where a destination is accessible only through particular postal or transport networks, the logistics partner may be changed to support delivery.

The applicable quotation or order confirmation determines whether PackagingWala arranges transportation or the customer selects and manages a separate transport provider.

Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address, contact number and any necessary delivery instructions. Incorrect addresses, unavailable recipients or restricted delivery access may cause additional charges or delays.

07. Dispatch, Tracking & Transit Delays

For orders requiring balance payment before dispatch, the outstanding amount must be cleared before the shipment can be released.

As described in our shipping policy, tracking numbers, waybill details or manifest information are generally generated or shared within approximately 48–72 hours following balance-payment clearance and the relevant dispatch process. Actual timing may vary.

Production completion, dispatch and final delivery are separate stages. Tracking availability does not mean that a shipment has reached its destination.

Transit may be affected by carrier capacity, hub congestion, routing changes, weather, operational disruptions or other circumstances outside our reasonable control. Delivery estimates are not guarantees.

If your shipment is delayed, contact us with your order number and available tracking details so the status can be reviewed.

08. Customer-Arranged Transport & Pickup

If a customer expressly chooses an independent transporter, custom freight route or factory pickup, the responsibilities for transport booking, freight payment, tracking coordination and collection must be agreed in advance.

Where the customer independently appoints a transport provider, the customer is responsible for coordinating with that provider and complying with its booking, collection and payment requirements. Any applicable transport charges should be clarified before dispatch or pickup.

The allocation of transit risk, responsibility for loss or damage, insurance and claims will depend on the agreed shipping arrangement and applicable law. Any Ex-Works, FOB or similar trade term applies only when expressly agreed and relevant to the transaction.

If goods arrive damaged or appear to be missing, preserve the packaging, photographs, delivery records and available transport documents, and notify the relevant parties promptly.

09. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

Cancellation and refund eligibility depends on the product type, order status, production stage, customisation and whether a barcode or digital deliverable has already been allocated or supplied.

  • Custom manufacturing: once production or customisation begins, cancellation due to a change of mind or customer-approved artwork may not be available.
  • Barcode and digital purchases: these may be non-refundable once allocated or supplied, subject to the applicable policy and rights under law.
  • Damaged, defective or incorrect orders: contact support promptly with the order details and clear supporting photographs or videos for review.

If an order has not entered processing, contact support as soon as possible to request cancellation. A request is not confirmed until PackagingWala communicates its decision.

After review, an appropriate remedy may include correction, replacement, re-performance or a refund where applicable. Approved refunds are processed according to the relevant policy and payment provider timelines.

Please read the Cancellation, Refunds & Returns Policy for the detailed conditions. Nothing in this section removes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Barcode Orders & Digital Fulfilment

Barcode packages, quantities, prices and included services are described on the applicable product and checkout pages. The package details shown at purchase and the order confirmation govern the transaction.

Barcode allocation depends on successful payment confirmation, the package purchased and the processing required to fulfil the order. A payment acknowledgement alone does not establish that allocation has completed.

If an allocation is missing, duplicated or incorrect, contact support with your order number and payment reference so the records can be investigated.

A barcode purchase does not automatically guarantee acceptance by every retailer, marketplace, industry body or external database. Customers should confirm their intended use and relevant requirements before purchase.

11. Support & Order Issues

For production updates, payment confirmation, shipping queries, delivery problems, cancellations or suspected manufacturing issues, contact our team with the information needed to identify your order.

  • Order number or quotation reference.
  • Registered email address or contact number.
  • Payment or transaction reference, where relevant.
